I know trading is taboo. But if I've tried everything else to get a DVD to copy and it just won't work for me, how can I get a copy? Two specific titles are Saw III and Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season 2 Disc 6. I've tried recommended actions from the Forum. Is there any place a technical dumbass like me can go to have a technical whiz make the copy for me? I know the forum and site is for recommending methods for do it yourself, but when you can't where do you turn?

I wanted to add that I think I may have finally succeeded with Saw III. I used the following: Windows Explorer to copy to Hard Drive (with AnyDVD in background), VobBlanker (ran several times with varied combinations of commands (definately select the Fix pointers box) and finally got a copy that Shrink could open). Shrink is currently running, so we'll see what happens. I'd still be curious about where to turn for a copy when you fail to make the copy yourself.

Try ripit

Download these 3 files
Shrink: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_.../dvd_shrink.cfm
Dvd Decrypter: http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/
ripit: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/RipIt4Me

Make sure DVD Decrypter and Shrink are installed before you install Ripit. Or you can try Dvd fab HD decrypter. When backing up Episodic discs like Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season 2 you must copy the entire disc.

i'm sure AnyDVD can deal with Saw III fine but i don't use AnyDVD. I know for a fact that DVDFab HD Decrypter makes easy work of Saw III however
