whats your firmware, if you have a firmware above 3.03 you cant downgrade your psp

Go to Settings>System Information.
It will tell you what firmware you have. If you just purchased your psp then I highly doubt it is lower than 3.03.

Yup, I still have a fat PSP
PSP life: 1.00 > 1.50 > 2.00 > 2.50 > 2.60 > 2.71 > 2.81 >> 1.50 > 3.03 OE-C > 3.52 M33-3 > 3.90 M33-3 > 5.00 M33-6 - Trying to go back to 3.90 M33-3 but no one will help me :(
By the way my PSP is BRICKED if any nice person wants to help revive my psp please message me or answer one of my threads.

I'm not sure what firmware he has, but I'm pretty sure it's probably lower than 3.03. :P

u put a game in the umd slot and press play under game, but seriously, go to the settings and tell us what firmware u have

yeh ddp told me once up to u but if u dont change it now mods see u, u may get suspended and i posted like 1030 messages in under 2 months!

Sorry to drop in on this, but i am in the same boat, although unlike the dude who hasnt checked yet i am aware that my psp is indeed a 3.03. now my problem is this, i have done too much reading and have now lost myself. I am trying to enable game play from a memory stick but am not sure what to do, do I have to downgrade my firmware or can i run it under HEN and what file format will these have to be?
Much help is required, i beleive no more research on my behalf is needed. I DO NOT WANT TO BRICK THIS

DCP_PSP & shadow270, edit your sig to conform to forum specs ASAP.
