hi i am having samsung vp-d305i camcorder how to transfer film from camcorder to pc i have dvc media 5.1 but were the function of record

I do believe your video is captured on an SD card? If so, you cant use a program designed for DV capture. Hook the camcorder via usb and should be able to use some kind of viewer.
