3.40 OE-A copying content onto second memory card

Successfully got 3.40 OE-A up and running on PSP 1.5, 2GB card and all works fine. Copied contents of memory card to larger 4GB card and this worked except some games won't save but would ont he original 2GB card used for the 3.40 OE-a install-any reasons why this should be and is there a better way to get the contents from one card onto a second ?

Could be a fake 4gb card(It says 4Gb but might only hold 1 or 2 GB)

I also thought this but even with one small ISO game on it eg. Crush it will not save or load the game but will run it OK. The card will format OK on a PC but not ont he PSP- has anyone any ideas ??

If it doesn't format, then it's a faulty card. Maybe just faulty contacts, or maybe just a 1 gig card made to look like 4 gig. (Anything you store beyond 1 gig will be corrupt), or many other problems. If you just bought it, I'd contact seller to get it exchanged/returned.

Took your advice and arranging it to be returned- Guess the lesson learnt is- Dont buy mem sticks from Ebay.. when a deal looks too good it usually is ! THanks for the input.
