Depends were you trying to downgrade? Cause if you were trying to downgrade then the warranty is no longer in effect.

bricked PSP=voided warranty..You can try to send it in for a replacement, but you will pay dearly for it. For some reason Sony knows when you have been monkeying with the firmware..

If you tell them you bricked during sony update, they will replace for you for free.
