PSP V2.0 HELP PLEASE!!!!..newbie

PSP Help?

I have PSP v2.0 and I want to install and play games, I have a file called "nameofgame".cso and I have placed in the main root on my PSP in a folder called ISO. I am stuck at this point.

I don't know how to get into recovery mode.

Any help would be awesome

hey whazup,

you need 2 downgrade your psp to V1.5 and after the downgrade you have 2 install a custom firmware. look @ www.psp-hacks.com for some tutorials ;)

What version of Custom Firmware do I need?

the newest is Custom Firmware 3.40 OE-A, but you can choose another.
but i recommend this one.

Ok,

So I have a program that I can downgrade to V1.5, once that is completed
I then I have to upgrade to version 3.40 OE-A( If I want) and then I am able to go from there and play games?

Like I said I am a newbie, just got psp yesterday.

yeah after installing the custom firmware you need 2 put the games in the map "ISO" and you can play games ;)

Do you know a site of step by step how to upgrade to 3.40.....

just download the custom firmware @ psp-hacks.com and read the readme inside it ;)

Thanks once again.

I have completed evertyhing some more questions

1) Can I remove the updates files on my psp?

2) I tried loading the game and it gave me an error, I already went to the recovery screen and changed the homebrew to 1.5

??
