Hi there, I'm new to this so bear with me...I installed a softmod on my xbox using Splinter Cell about 3 years ago and was working for a while until I did something to it which I can't remember what..so I put it away..now I just felt like fixing it as I got bored...now the message that came up then and now is the Xbox trying to update itself through the Dashboard and then says after a few seconds says Xbox Live is not responding, Please try again later.

It will do nothing else, boot games is a nono.
Its now just a big black brick.

Can anyone help me?
