i upgraded...now can i format mem card?

so i managed to downgrade to 1.5 then upgrade to 3.40 OE-A. There are tons of files left on my stick that are cluttering it up. Can I get rid of them? Can I just format the stick to get it nice and fresh or does the firmware need some of the files?

nope. just format it :)
also, the format will create all the necessary files, like iso and game150, and thats always nice

Yes, it's very useful if you are a newbie to ISO's and homebrew.
