i have firmware 3.40 oe- a
i can play game in my memory stick with one umd inside but if i take out the umd the game got error
how do i fix it

i dont think you can, you have to have a umd in it for it to work

You could try turning on no-umd but not all games work(iso/cso{memory stick games}.

Turn off psp completely. Hold R turn it on a bluish or purplish screen with show up go to configuration and then Use No-UMD
