My problem is that I ordered a new Dell E520 and while it was getting built I ordered a Sony NEC Optiarc 18 DVD+- DVD Burner...ATAPI Model 7170A. So when I got it I started to install it but it was different setup than my dvd player was. I started reading a little and notice that it was SATA. I thought all the burners were one kind that fit all computer. duh!!! So what I wanted to know is will all brands of SATA burners fit my computer. I hope I gave you enough imformation... I am a newbie.thanks for your help in advance.
