I recently downloaded VLC player for my vista computer. But no video works. Is there any other media players for vista that support almost everything?

You can try RadLight player 4.0 or DivX player. They should work on vista.

For Vista maybe stick with WMP11.

I had that same problem with Vista.. you can get VLC to work by adjusting a few settings:
