I have been using anydvd+clonedvd for about two years. I like it because it is a one step process that burns a DVD and puts an image on your hard drive at the same time. I just bought dvdfab platinum and have been using it for two weeks. I am having a hard time trying to burn a DVD and put an image on my hard drive in one step. I have searched for a guide but could not find one. I notice that dvdfab platinum uses a special burning engine. In your opinion which program burns higher quality DVDs? I use these programs to only backup DVDs. In your opinion which is easier to use? Thanks!

I have the programs you use and I use it often enough...... mostly I use AnyDVD + CloneDVD for it's simplicity. DVDFab Plat I use when I want to convert to iPod (mpeg4). I used to use DVDFab Plat exclusively but got used to AnyDVD + CloneDVD. both methods----> don't see any difference in quality! DVDFab Plat uses VSO burning engine or Nero burning engine...... some members like Nero burning engine.... I don't discriminate....find both works just fine! So in conclusion it's a matter of preference. Both are great programs.

We shall go to the end,we shall fight in France,we shall fight on the seas and oceans,we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air,we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be,we shall fight on the beaches,we shall fight on the landing grounds,we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,we shall fight in the hills;we shall never surrender

The programs mentioned are the top of their line.

I would say the best and easiest combo to use are.

DVDFab Decrypter Freeware

and

CloneDVD 2

If you use these two you do not even need AnyDVD.
