Splitting DVD?

Hey, I just recently got Entourage on DVD, but I wanted to split up the episodes on each disc onto 2 other ones so I don't lose quality while backing up. Any help would be great.

Rip the DVD then open with DVD Shrink.
Click 'Re Author' and note the title or titles on the right side of the window.
Drag the largest from right to left, the click on the 'start/end frames' symbol.
Select all or part that you want to keep.
Before clicking 'Backup' ensure that your preferences reflect the compression of the output file that you wish.
Example would be if the clip was 5GB in size and you wanted to compress to 4GB.
Backup and save or burn to disk as required.
Repeat with the other titles.
