hi

i had the same problem with lumbjack but i checked for the
DMA mode and it was checked. My DVD-ROM plays some dvd's fine
but it doesn't regognise some others. I don't know what to do so please help me.
i run the nero InfoTools and it showed this about the DVD-ROM :

Firstly, dont be posting your email address on the foum.

The ASPI Layers used are Nero's own. You could try updating them to an Adaptec version 4.71/4.60 set of ASPI layers

i tried that and i changed my ASPI drivers to 4.71a2 version but it still doesn't work. can i do anything else???
