i got an x360....had it for about three weeks...i was playing doa4 when i got the damned lights. the system would never boot up after that. so one day i just started fooling with it and took it apart. with the top off i tried to turn it on and to my surprise the damned thing finally boots up with no red lights. so i put the top back on and the same red light nightmare started again. i took the top off and noticed that the metal on top of the case is touching the heatsink so i took off the metal and put the case back on...what do you know it boots right on up. i havent had the redlight issue ever since i took off that damned piece of metal. it might sound stupid but thats how i got rid of mine. some should try this sometime.

well from what i am lead to beleive its the heat from the system that causers a loose connection to make the 3 red lights i had it rang MS they fixed it even though i was a long way out of warranty they really dont have a clue
