Then why do you need to know what it is? Well if you still do, custom firmware is a firmware that is like 1.5 and 3.40 combined (well thats for 3.40oe-a). You can play all the newest games, and still have homebrew, with a couple of extra features like playing ISO's, and customizing the XMB. Along with the much needed recovery mode.

thank you very much i didnt no what it was i was asking for help with devhook some guy told me to get it i was thinking it was a installer for a program like devhook to it was to late now i have to work out how to mod it
