Ulead VideoStudio 8 - No audio problem!

I just installed Ulead VideoStudio 8 and everything works fine except when i import video into my project only the video appears with no sound. When i import music, that plays fine. Could it be a codec problem perhaps? The videos play fine in all other media players and editors. They're formats like wmv AVI mpg etc.

Has anyone come across this before or know a fix for it?
