how do you downgrade back from 3.10 oe-a' to 3.03 oe-c?

You install the 1.50 recovery then upgrade to 3.03 OE. 3.40 OE is much better then 3.03 OE though.

No need for recovery, just install 3.03oe on top of 3.10oe. It'll rewrite everything for you. But I agree with MidnightJ whole heartedly. 3.40OE much better.
