Abt a year ago, a friend of mine backed up alot of my games and I use to play...it was workin fine for a year or so. All of a sudden, 2 days ago, when I load the back-up games, all of it will go to the red screen "please insert playstatio2....blah2"

The system still alowed my to play my originial games so I am not that fret up. But whats happening? is it the mod chip or the lens? I tried tilting the system but tt dosent work. I followed an article on this website abt opening up the console and tweaking the white circular thing that gives height to the lens. that too does not work.

Hope someone out there can help!

it sounds like somethings wrong with ur modchip check and make sure all the points r still attatched
