So what totall package should i get

We already got a PS2 here but it's all messed up, so i want to buy a PS2 and use Swap Magic, but i don't want to mod anything, if it breaks down then i still like to send it in for repairs. So i checked those Magic Keys and they sound about right, but i've also read that not all models work with it.
My plan is to buy Swap Magic, obviously, get those Magic Keys 2 (or any other which will get me better results), and the PS2 i want to get is the silver slimline with 2 controllers and a memory card.
This will be PAL btw as i live in the Netherlands.
Can i just buy all that and will it work how it should, so no losing the warranty or having the lid opened. If not, then what should i get?
Also i saw on a site Magic Keys 2 and 3, but i haven't found anything about the 3 on their site.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Btw my apologies if this been covered in another topic already, i did look some around, but i really need a specific answer because i don't want to spend money on a PS2 version that has to be opened up.

The Magic keys are generally for the slimline PS2 models. The use of a slidecard is required for the fat PS2s since you need to deploy a force swap without the fat PS2 detecting the swap isn't taking place by gently unlocking the tray, pulling it out, swap disc, push it back in carefully, locking it in place and boot from the Swap Magic menu.
And since you mentioned you have a slim PS2, the Magic keys are just for you. You can simply do a tissue and tape/straw mod depending on what you are going for without buying the actual Magic keys as using common household objects like a simple tissue can act just like a key. The reason I say tissue and tape/straw mod is because the tissue and tape mod involves opening the PS2 and taping down the switch if you're the kind of person that doesn't mind opening up their PS2 or you have no warranty to really care while a tissue and straw mod simply involves you to insert a straw between the metal hinges, the things that make the slim PS2 flippable, to hit the switch underneath the lid.
What the tape and straw basically does, along with the other Magic keys or whatever you decide to use, is to hold down the PS2's security sensors so they aren't able to detect the swap is ever taking place.
And don't worry about it. Some people need to provide as much information as they can while being direct if they expect a more speedy answer. I remember spending half the time clarifying with this one person if we were on the same page on what we were both exactly talking about because he used a different terminology than me.
Edit: The Magic Keys 2 and 3 probably vary like the tissue and tape/straw mod. I forgot which is which but basically for one particular set of Magic keys, let's say Magic Keys 2, you get the standard Key A and Key B except Key C is a box. That box is basically used to hold the switch down underneath the slim Ps2's lid. I think the box can also be used for the fat PS2 but most Swap Magic users that have a fat PS2 generally use a slide card or have a custom flip-top installed so they can avoid doing the slide card method. Magic Keys 3, hypothetically speaking, has Key C as a hook instead where you are suppose to hit the switch underneath the slim PS2's lid.

The price of the magic keys (or a similar product) doesn't bother me, just aslong it assures me a easy and clean install.
My question really is, do Magic Keys 2 or 3 work with that particular slimline model, if not what are my options with that model, and what would be my options with say a black slimline model.
Opening the console up really isn't a option for me, i'm going to buy a brand new console, and i want to have my warranty intact.

Either key should work since you have a v12 slim PS2. Do you have a link where I can see magic keys 2 and 3? I believe the only difference between those two Magic Key sets are the size of each Key C. Like I mentioned previously, Key C typically has a hook where you are suppose to hit the switch underneath the slim Ps2's lid (but Key C could also be a box if you buy that particular set or it comes with it). Anyway, Key C has two different sizes, a fat hook used for the hole you see to the left of your v12 black slim PS2 where it'll snugly fit through that hole and hit that switch without much problems and hassle. For the recent slimline, most notably the v15 sliver slim PS2 I have, that hole you use to see in the v12 black slim PS2 has been patched over with metal so the use of a much thinner hook was developed so you can go between the 2 metal bridges and hit the switch underneath the silver slim PS2s. Hope that helps. If not, ask what you want if I didn't answer clearly enough.
Edit: if you are planning to buy a silver slim PS2, go for the Magic Key set that has the thin hook. Also, if you do happen to get the Magic Key set with the thin hook AND you are planning to buy a silver slim PS2, be warned: Key C might be slightly bent or altered when you receive it. You might want to adjust Key C depending if you still can't get it to hit the switch after awhile.

So basicly any slim model works with those keys?
Because i have no idea which version it will be, you say the v12, but then you later say you got the v15, since i will be getting a silver version (the one with 2 controllers and a memory card) i have no idea which i will get.
But if it works with all versions, or atleast with all silver versions, then i can just buy the PS2 and check later which model i got.

I thought you said you had a v12 black slim PS2 so I automatically thought you have one and suggested, if you decide to mod your v12 black slim PS2, that the magic keys you are looking at will work on it. I have a v15 silver slim PS2 at the moment and the magic keys worked for mine except I gave up on the idea on using the magic keys because of how fragile and tender my special silver slim PS2 is so I decided to use the tissue and tape mod so I could play with my lid closed. Since you said you are indeed getting a silver slim PS2, whether it may be a v15 or v16, the magic keys have worked for my slim PS2 so it should work for yours also if you decide to buy one.
Edit: So overall, the magic keys will work for all slimline PS2s. If you have trouble installing Key C in literally several days ~ few weeks, I would suggest doing a simple tissue and tape mod. People have had a variety of problems getting the hook to hit the switch underneath the recent silver slim PS2s so they decided (and me too) to not bother with the Key C we bought along with Swap Magic and do one that's simpler. And besides, my slim PS2 has overheating issues so leaving the lid open while playing was something I was not going to deal with so I decided to do the tissue and tape mod solely for that reason alone.

The PS2 that we got here is 1 of those old bigger PS2's, it's already 4 years old.
Anyway thanks for the help and tips, i guess i will pick up a silver slimline soon.
