Razr v3xx - change in functionality

I got a Razr v3xx. I noticed right away that I could look at the files using the phone by itself. I could also have sworn that the phone would load my pictures from the PC. The battery meter did not work so I exchanged it for another one. The one I received was branded AT&T (instead of Cingular). It won?t display any of my pictures (because they are too big). And I can now only see the individual files if the phone is plugged into the computer. Has anybody else come across this change in functionality? I would like to find a way to have the phone display some pictures of my own (no matter the size) shrink to fit. What sort of utility programs are out there? I wonder if they changed the firmware. Anyway, it is still a good phone.
