Hey folks-

Bought an Everio GZ-MG130U a couple of weeks ago and I'm starting to accumulate some footage. Want to make sure that I get a good archiving process in place before things get out of hand.

Does anyone know if the creation date is stored as meta data in the .MOD files that are created when I take a video? I convert them to .MPG on my computer, and I'd like to add some meta data a la ID3 for photos. But more that that, I'd just like to know that I don't have to rely on the "Date Modified" to tell me when the file was created.

Guess I'm just a newbie looking for some advice.
