FTP stops every couple of minutes

When Im uploading or downloading alot of files to or from my xbox flashfxp will suddenly stop every minute or so and say that it cant open a connection. I can reconnect straight away again and just start where I got cut off but it is getting to be very annoying. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be? I have checked all the setting and they all seem ok.
