softmodded and cant get on live

i have softmodded my xbox with unleashed x and i can get on live, when i go to Halo 2 i live and it take me back to the menu and whin i go to xbox live in ms dash it says it cant connect please help

when it takes you back to the Halo 2 menu that means you are not doing a cold boot, make sure you softmodded it with dual boot and press eject, put the game in, then close the tray and you should be able to get on live.

what about the problem when i go to ms dash and it says xbox live cant connect, nad how do i install so it duel boots

when you use an auto installer there should be a few different choices for type of install, you need to choose one like "dual boot power=unleashX eject=retail dash"
