Ok here is the deal. I just purchased the God of War 2 game and I would like to make a backup of it just in case, but since I don't want to waste a dual layer disc for nothing, I need to ask this. If I copy the original disc to a dual layer disc in Nero will it work normally on my modded ps2 or do I need to do something else??

You need to patch it using a Toxic patch I believe. As for how to do it, don't ask me since I don't use a mod-chip =P. Other than that, I've heard of really no problems playing the DVD9 version of GOW2 except to those who simply download it off the net without having the ISO patched with the Toxic patch before they play it. If you are interested in playing GOW2 on a DVD5 instead of burning it on a DVD9, you should check here for a GOW2 DVD9 to DVD5 conversion tutorial.
