I recently tried to repair a copy of windows on my HDD using a Windows XP Home disc. It repaired and then before finalizing it asked for the serial key. I did not have it so I restarted the PC. Then realized that had corrupted my copy of Windows. So I installed Windows XP Pro on the same partion, as C:\Windows\New. I then proceeded to copy all the documents and emails from the copy of windows (C:\Documents and settings\username\) to the new copy (C:\Documents and settings\new username) however I cannot find the adress book from the old installation.

If anyone could help me find it or help me un-corrupt my old copy of windows that would be great!

unhid everything & look under local settings\application data. also do a search for *.wab as the .wab is the file extension for address book.
