Mk, I have a couple of problems with swap magic. I put the DVD swap magic in. I eject the disc. I put in a high TOC disc. I was trying to wait for it to stop spinning so I could take it out and put a DVD in to play. It doesn't stop spinning. The disc just keeps on going. I can't take out my high TOC disc and put in my backup and its pretty annoying. Anyone know a solution?

Once you put in the bigger disc for the toc refresh it should stop and tell you to put in your game disc. Try the Swap Magic Cd if you have it and boot a dvd that way.

Are you using slim PS2?

when you use the Swap Magic DVD you do not need to do a TOC refresh because the Swap Magic DVD already has a high TOC. So next time you load the Swap Magic DVD, slide the disc tray open (with slide tool), put your copied/backup in and slide the disc tray back and press X. The game will load.

You only need to do a TOC refresh with the Swap Magic CD.

EDIT: I see you use the Slimline PS2. Well the method is still the same, insert your Swap Magic DVD, let it load, swap the discs with your backup/copy and press X. (When I say swap, I mean change the discs with your usual method aka fliptop/slide tools etc)

PS2 - Swap Magic 2.0 DVD - Swap Magic 3.0 CD - Memory Card Exploit - Swap Magic 3.6 ELF - Swap Magic 3.8 ELF

PSP SLIM - OFW 3.71 - CFW 3.71 M33 - CFW 3.71 M33-2 - CFW 3.71 M33-3 - CFW 3.71 M33-4 - CFW 3.80 M33 - CFW 3.80 M33-2 - CFW 3.80 M33-3 - CFW 3.80 M33-4 - CFW 3.80 M33-5 - CFW 3.90 M33 - CFW 3.90 M33-2

XBOX 360 - Currently Researching Mods

PS3 80GB (Soon to be 320GB) - OFW 2.50

I fixed it. Well, not really, but found a way around it. I put the Cogswaploader on my PSP. I plugged the PSP into the USB. Turned it on USB mode, then loaded the Swap Magic CD. It loaded the file from the PSP and that worked.

I think TOC refreshing with a slim ps2 is not as easy as it is with fat PS2. It's not just taking the Swap Magic DVD, putting a high TOC game disc in, and swapping. I hear you might have to take out tool E after you take the DVD out.

You know honestly I never had a problem with any of my games since I switched to better DVD media so I never had to do a TOC refresh, but to somewhat help, I doubt I can do a TOC refresh with my silver slim PS2. It just keeps spinning and spinning. Like what Omirsama said, you might have to loosen that particular key that holds the switch underneath the PS2's lid, but I can't (and have no need) to attempt it since I have to reopen my slim PS2 and remove the tape I used and I haven't had any problems that would require me to do a TOC refresh.
