Studio 10 to Vegas 7 users?

I recently made the change from studio 10 to vegas 7 and have had a huge headache ever since.
Sure vegas is nice, but rendering or exporting is pure hell compared to studio. With studio I could fine tune the about of data my video files were for youtube (100mb limit) but vegas won't tell me and the files look like crap.

What can i do to fix this?
