8GB Pro Duo Memory Stick

I've been looking on eBay for an 8GB PSP memory stick. i found a few but they are all from the same seller and from Hong Kong. Does anybody know if these are fakes? Ive never seen these before, and the fact that there are very little of them on eBay concerns me a little bit more.

Im sure it is fake (the details he has put down). Anyway living were i am (England) i would never buy it from abroad just in case it is fake because of the p&p.

True but he had good ones too. I won't post those as it's few protaining to the 8 gig sticks.

And the good ones I did see looked like the people just wrote the review before they actually tried it out.

You can try if you want. I bought a 4gb stick from HK and it turned out to actually be an official SONY one. So it's up to you. I'll go check the guy I bought mine's from and see if he has any 8gig ones... or maybe that was him... hmm...
But really, I'd wait a while before getting one from there only because we're not sure yet. I'd also wait until he gets more reviews. What I notice about sellers is that the later they have a prodect they're selling, the more good reviews they get for it. I noticed that there were a lot more good reviews for the 4gb than there were for the 8gb one.

There is an official Sony 8GB Memory Stick. It's been out ever since last year, I believe.

am a noob at this so please forgive the ignorance

can anyone confirm that they have got a 8gig stick running on a psp

wasnt there an issue with the 4 gig one where you needed to have certain version of the firmware for it to be recognised. is it the same case with the 8 gig?

8gig... need 2.8 or higher utilize extra space
but i assuming most people are above 2.8 by now
