I've got a lot of concert videos that were authored with random chapter splits and I'm trying to fix the problem. Can anyone explain how to edit IFO files and what programs to use and such? Thanks in advance.

Rip the DVD to the HDD using either DVD Decrypter or DVDFabHDDecrypter

DVD Decrypter
http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/
Download, install and run.
Open the DVD then 'Mode' > 'File', click button to rip.

DVDFab.
http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm

Open the files in the likes of TMPGEnc DVD Author
and set your own chapter points.
