ok, i have a psp that is 3.03 oe-a and i have heard about the new 3.4 oe-a . is there anyway to upgrade to 3.4 oe-a from 3.03 oe-a?

Yes. First go Here.
Go to the PSP section. Then go to firmwares. Then find and download the file 3.40oe-a. Open it using WinRAR. Copy the oeupdmaker and oeupdmaker% folders into the Game150 folder. Then ,from the same place, get the 3.40 and 1.50 updates. Save and rename them 150.PBP and 340.PBP. Place them in the oeupdmaker folder, not the one with the percent. Execute the program under the memory stick in game on your PSP. It should generate a DATA.DXAR. Then copy the 340oeflasher and its % file to Game150, and copy the DATA.DXAR to the 340oeflasher folder. Run the program on your PSP. And you should have 3.40oe-a PSP. Enjoy!

Having problems moving from 3.03oe-a to 3.03oe-c.

History is that I was running FW 3.11, then purchased Lumines & downgraded / upgrade to FW 1.50 / 3.03oe-a. I've searched the forums and encountered the following issues.

Where do I find the firmwares? The link in this thread isn't valid.
I think I've found the 150 & 303 firmwares, but I don't have a GAME150 folder. I've tried putting all the releavant files in GAME folder & executed - but get the error that the 150.PBP cannot be read.

I've also tried creating a new folder called GAME150 and putting the relevant files there. When I try to execute this way, I get the message "The game could not be started".

Ultimately, I want to be able to play backed-up ISOs from my memory stick - is the 3.03oe-c the best FW to use?
