just got a Starview box all the pay channels have gone can someone help me get them back and how to do it my cable is virgin thanks

Try Menu > Auto Scan and see if it picks up some channels

i did that when i got the box and i had all the prem channels ive got an rs232 lead to usb but do i need some softwere to make it work if so where can i get it and how to do it many thanks

Telwest

If you go to the Starview info link at the bottom of my post it will give you a visual guide on how to input the keys, just click on keys in the menu.

Also as you have a genuine box you should install Version 4 firmware that way it will update the keys for you automatically.

I am gone for the evening but I am sure the keys and the guide will have you back up in no time.
