Hey,

Im getting my hand on for £60 a xbox 360 with a drive read problem. Im gonna try all the easy tricks but i assume its the worst i dead drive. Therefore in preparation for this ive got ready to buy a new samsung MS25. If i do this:

1/ Recover the drive key of the orig drive.

2/ Replace the drive key of the new drive and spoof that drive to whatever the original firmware was.

If i do all that using a different xbox 360 as a power supply. If i always keep the firmware as the orig will microsoft have any idea?
