I am trying to burn a dvd that is a burned copy of a dvd that I burned using DVD Shrink. When i try to burn the burned dvd, DVD Shrink says that it cannot read the dvd even though it plays perfectly on a dvd player. Is there something I can do to fix this?

well you cant burn a dvd+r/-r that has been burnt, only if its +rw/-rw, rewritable in other words, some programs cant earse discs, Nero can try using that, if it's already burnt then no my friend, you cant burn it further

Just use DVD Decrypter to rip the movie files from the copy to your hard drive. Then, use your choice of burning software to burn to a second blank copy. It works.

sorry, shoudn't have thought you were that dumb, i use "1clickdvdcopy" it's very good, also "imtoo dvd copy express"
(well look at your title "Trouble burning a dvd that was already burned")
http://www.1clickdvdcopy.com/
http://www.imtoo.com/dvd-copy-software.html
both are really good
now if you only have 1 drive you need to rip it, then burn it,
GUIDE-RIP ANY DVD STRAIT TO YOUR COMPUTER IN ONE FILE http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/511317
this is my guide and the software is free and pretty fast,
then using dvd flick you can burn the file you ripped to a dvd, all using FREE SOFTWARE (not shareware), so enjoy

If you have Nero, this will work just fine. Since the the backup you're trying to make is of a backup, there's no copy protection to deal with so there's no need to use shrink or DVD Decrypter, just software that can be used to make a copy of a copy is needed.
Insert your copy and....
Select copyDVD using Nero express as shown.

Then

Yes, I agree as it relates to what kripple has already tried, but as you should know, there's always more than one way to do something. Using shrink or decrypter to copy a copy isn't the best way, it usually produces CRC errors. Using nero/roxio or any other software package that alloys the user to create a copy of something is usually the best way to go.
