hey all, my wireless was working fine (router with linksys wireless) then after 1.8 update not connecting to the net any more.tried automatic settings, detects linkys ok and so on , then when i go to test I get error "IP address time out" then when i set up manually i get DNS error.Searched other threads before putting this on here and counld'nt see anything that was helping..any pointers greatly appreciated...oh and all other computers on the wireless net work in my home working jus fine

try wiring it and see if that works ur ps3 wifi may be malfunctioning ive seen it happen once and only once to this guy im in a clan with so its possible the wifi may have burnt out but rare
