HELP with Xplorer360

When I have all the cords pluged in and the power cable snug I turn on my computer and I open up Xplorer360 and when I open the drive I get the following! "invalid filename size: 210 in cluster 1, loop #0"
And on the side menu all it shows partition 0 and then as soon as it I close the error message it closes the program!Then when I opened up Partition magic it shows "19077mb free" than "19077" unallocatted!!! I know what all this means but I'm not savy enought to fix it. :_( Also on one side of the chip that goes inte the harddrive thingy one of the metal strips is scorched...It was only
15$ but if I can I would like to save money! (I'm using the Talismoon Sata connector)

Instead of giving my PC stats and wasting your time, Ill just tell you it is really cruddy.
