Strange one this, I've just bought a pioneer 106 to backup my DVDs but I am having problems. I have a Samsung DVD-ROM drive which has latest firmware installed, the problem I have is when I try and do a disc-disc copy it always fails with read errors. I thought this was a problem with the disk but it's not, I've noticed that disks sized 3.5GB are showing as 4.5GB in Nero, Recordnow and CloneDVD and so when the burn gets to around 75-80% it's still trying to read data that is not there, the correct size of the disks are shown in explorer?
Anyone come across this before or got any ideas how to resolve it??
