I have a 32" Westinghouse HD TV and I have been playing my 360 through the component cables with no problems. However last time i turned my 360 on the tv said invalid format and stayed with a black screen. I switched the cables to the regular A/V cables and that worked but once again when i switched to the component i got a black screen and invalid format. I have no idea how this would just stop working or if its my tv or 360? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is the switch on the component cables on tv or HDTV makes sure its on HDTV that might help, also set the video mode in your xboxs dash to lower like 720p in case its stuck on 1080p or something and you tv doesnt support it, that would cause a black screen. You could try the cables in a different input if you have one too.
