Does anyone know if there is a difference between the Official Nintendo Wii Component Cables and the various 3rd party ones? I have a 3rd party one but was wondering if there was a point of switching to the 'real' ones. Seeing as the price is a bit higher for the official ones, should they make a swith or not?

In my opinion you will not notice a difference if you switch to the "official" brand....It's the same idea as buying a 3rd part controller...it does the excact same thing.

I baught a 3rd party SCART cable for my Wii and a friend baught the official Nintendo SCART. His was twice the price of mine and there is no differance in picture at all between our 2 systems.

I know SCART is alittle differant to what you are looking for, but my point is that i dont think there will be any differance in official to 3rd party video cables. Atleast there wasnt in this case.
