I Burned a movie on my Optorite DVD Burner using Princo DVD-r 1-4x media & tryed to play it on three different computers. First computer with a Pioneer DVD-115 Rom the movie played fine. But other two computers both with Pioneer DVD-120 Rom Drives lock up and will not start movie at all. Anyone have any ideas why. Is it media compatability. Should I try different brand. movie also plays well on my standalone DVD player.

If you had been reading the threads about media here long enough you'd realise that few people recommend Princo media. Some of their discs are OK but it is impossible to tell which batches are not since they use different factories in different countries to produce their media. The golden rule is not to buy Princo discs if you experience the problems you are having. Stick to Ritek, Verbatim or other well known brands such as Pioneer.

Very true about the princo media, but i believe there is an underlying problem here with hardware and/or software

I also think it is hardware and/or software
related. I have just tryed a TDK DVD-R disc with the same problem so I don't think it is to do with media. Do you think I should try a DVD+R
disc? Will it make any difference.

I think that you should visit the DVD+/-R Drives section of this website because there are a few threads on the Optorite burner with peoples explanations on best DVD R's. Have a look at this:
