Hi,

I just got my psp today and it had version 2.71 running on it. I was trying to get it running on Dark_Alex's 3.03 OE-A. I did everything like the readme said but I am having problems creating the DATA.DXAR file...
PLEASE HELP!!!!

You can just grab it here http://rapidshare.com/files/34933074/PSP_3.03_oe-c_firmware.rar ... its OE-C but its better than oe-a and 3.40 oe-a is the newest thats in my sig also...so... But yea just extract the files with WinRAR, unzip the 2 files to PSP/Game n install it. data is there.

hmmmm.... it still doesnt work. When I run it from my psp it shows the white screen with the words PSP in the middle...and then shuts off...

u need to downgrade that first.

It will guide u through the process to firmware 1.50, after that then u can upgrade to firmware 3.03oe or what ever u want.

When I open the installer, i get stuck on the part with the red screen or something...The screen doesnt turn red and it shuts my psp off...and i've tried like 10 times...

I just went to best buy and replaced it :D. Its running version 2.60 on it right now. Is there a way to downgrade it to 1.50?

Yes. First check your motherboard. Either way you have to first upgrade to 2.71.

#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
