I WAS WONDERING WETHER TO BUY A MOD CHIP. OR JUST BUY ANOTHER PSP.JUST SO I COULD UPGRADE TO THE LASTEST FIRMWARE VERSION. AND STILL PLAY HOMEBREW STUFF. HAS ANYONE BOUGHT THAT THING?

No posting in Caps...n that thing is hard to install, mine as well buy a new one quick and get the one puzzle (starts with a L...i dont remember) game to downgrade, most likely the new ones will be able to downgrade. And the chip are a pain to install n really easy to F*** up.

I agree. UP modchip is damn hard to install, and easy to mess up. On top of that, it's expensive.
