What HD software will let you put burned games onto the hard drive, without using a mod chip. I know with HD Loader it just says "Invalid Disc".

I'm using Swap Magic 3.6

And will I have to use the swap toll when taking out the HD program and putting in the burned game?....it dont matter though.

Thanks & Cheers

Why not use WinHiip instead? Read here. Isn't the point of using the IDE HDD for the PS2 for convenience and to preserve the PS2's laser longer?

There are 3 methods of putting burned/downloaded games on the HDD:

Method one, the WinHIIP method:
Install the game by ISO/Disc with WinHIIP by connecting the HDD to your PC with an IDE cable.

Method two, the network method:
Install the game by ISO/Disc with HDL Dumx through the network w/crossover cable or router.

Method three, the swap method:
Swap the HDLoader disc with your Backup/Import while at the 'insert your game disc' part of the installation.

How i did the methods:

Method two: I used Swap Magic 3.8's DEV1 mode to load the HDL Dumx ELF off my USB drive (PSP) and installed the games by router.

Method three: I used Swap Magic 3.8's DEV1 mode to load the HDLoader ELF, and at the 'insert your game disc' screen i swapped the disc.
