what file system is the other hard drive? i have had this problem before. you couldresizing the hard drive then copying the partition and to the new part of the hard drive. you could also use a linux live cd like slax to transfer the data to another drive or partition.

go here
http://www.slax.org/
download slax regular edition and then go to the module page and search gparted. once you find it download it. if you have a program like magic iso then you can put the downloaded module onto the cd in the module folder. if not then put it on the hard drive and you can load it up later. burn the cd and boot your computer with it. it will start at a command promt just type root, toor, xconfig, then startx. then you will be loaded into kde. next load the module. there is a program in the start menu that can do that. now just resize the partition so that you have plenty of room to tranfer the data. then format the new partition to fat32, then just open up konqueror and find you way to you data and just copy and paste to the new partition. and that should do it.
