nokia dbox2 tuner dead ?

a friend of mine purchased a dbox2 from somewhere and brought it to me because he could not pick anything up on it, i set it to the correct area and whatever and did a fast scan wich lasted all of 5 seconds so i tried brute force but that came up with nothing too after a good wait, ive tried allsorts , resetting the cam as well as changing it but stil get didly squat , it has sportster 1.2.0 on it at the minute, is it worth reflashing and trying a different image or is the tuner kapoot on it ?

Have you set your location via the blue button on the remote

yes i set the location and i have zilch for channels, not evan fta , ive tried changing cams and using brute force but its just not happening, the time changes to whatever it feels like too everytime u power on

If the net id field is blank you are not doing it right
Push blue button on your remote set location
Box will reboot
when it does tell me wot it says from top to bottom in the scan settings Them fields will then be filled and you will receive the channels for your area ........Paul

dont give up. i had a problem with my box where the time was differnt and channels get freezing. i tried scanning but lost all channels. Thats when i changed the emu and disabled a few things and its working just fine now after rescanning.

I FLASHED MY DBOX2 X1 WITH A 2X IMAGE AND IT BOOTED UP BUT NEVER PICKED ANY CHANNELS BUT THEN I FLASHED IT WITH A 1X IMAGE AND NOW HT LCD AND TV ARE BLANK IM CLUELESS ABOUT WHAT TO DO HELPPP PLEASEE
