PSP V2.81 need to get to play homebrew

Hi,

Just recently purchased a PSP with V2.81 firmware on it but need to play homebrew games .iso etc. I know you can do it using GTA game but is there another way as I dont have this game. Can I upgrade to a later firware and then downgrade?

no and yes. U cant downgrade and never upgrade because a downgrader may just pop up without GTA. Did u have the game, Lumines on the UMD (It can help u downgrade)
