Im a newbie so Im sorry if this there is an obvious answer for this.
I was wondering on how I could check if my computers burner supports these type of DVD's. Ive got a Packard Bell atm. There's no point in going out to buy a new burner if my computer can burn them already.

So can any1 please tell me how I check this and the bitsetting thing?

umm look at the dvd burner front bezel it should say dual layer somewhere if it burns dual layer discs or you can always google the model number of the drive for its full specs
