I would like to run custom guitar hero games/backups and I want to know exactly what I need to do this. I know I could do this easily with swap magic but I would prefer to stay local and do it using things I can buy at the local gameshop.

What I think I need:
- fat PS2
- slide card
- ARMax/GS2
- Memory card
- USB drive

Now, assuming I've collected all of those, what steps do I take to load burned games?
