Hi There,

Can anyone help. I plugged in my Sagem Dbox and did a scan for all channels, after an hour it had found all the channels. However, all of them are black and say "channel unavailable" I plugged my brothers box in and it works perfectly...so does anyone know what I can do to get the channels??

Thanks

On my Brothers box under EMU selection he just has a red button whereas I have a blue and yellow one as well as the red one.

My 'scan' menu is excatly like his. Sym6599 (Or something like that, for WellyPest as we are in Kent) manual scan 'No' Fast Scan 'No' Transponder and frequency blank and FEC 1/2 Polarization V.

It has been a while since I used FTP (maybe 5 years!) and I am not hooked up to web at home...

I hope you can help, as it's just my luck to spend £110 and get a broken box!

Thanks Dude, the EMU is the only thing I can think of as it appears to be the only difference between my brothers box and mine.

I'll give it a play now and then call it a night I think. Thanks for all of your help it is greatly appreciated. I'm going away for a couple of days now so, I'll come back and let you know if it works in a few days.

Thanks again for all of your help

Hi Mate,

EMU done nothing. I went onto Ucode selection in the finish as it picked up some channels and then when you turned over it lost them.

I changed the Ucode to another one on the list, the box re-booted and it worked perfectly until...5 hours later the movie I was watching just turned off and sure enough every channel came up as not available apart from three. I changed the Ucode again and suprise, suprise it works...for now at least!

Any ideas as to what is going on?

Thanks for your patience

The image is version 1.7

Would it be a pain to install a new image onto it?
