i have just tried to download software into my new box.it counted up for a while then all i got was agreen bar running left to right all the time.i have run the download file 7 times.it downloads and flash burns then says download complete,but still have green bar and no output.please help i am going into Starview rage.

You will have to be sure to download the right software.
Did u Check if it is a clone or a genuine Starview !

Ok . sounds like u did a bad flash.
click on link under my post (eko one)
starview, .firmware, download the firmware ( v4.ooe)
And flash that in ur gtrom loader...

It was only mentioned that he/she had a new box and not 'the box'
so it is pretty awkward to nail down the problem.
